This coffee cocktail is deliciously refreshing!
Spicy and sweet flavor of ginger ale, perfectly balanced with bright and intense Kenyan cold-brew coffee… Let’s try!
For this drink you’ll need:
- 100 ml of cooled Kenyan filter coffee（you can try this one from our shop）, brewing recipe given below
- 15 ml fresh lemon juice
- 15 ml 1:1 sugar syrup（take sugar and water in 1:1 ratio, heat the water and stir the mix until all the sugar melts, then cool it down)）
- 100 ml any Ginger Ale（we used Canada Dry, but you can try any you like）
- 1 orange peel（for decoration and fresh citrus aroma）
Brewing recipe: Use 20 gr of coffee (medium-to-fine grind size) and 200 gr of water (temp. 93 degrees). Go for 3 pours (60:60:80), every 20 seconds. Make the pours quite intense for higher extraction. Cool it down.
Now, take a highball glass, fill it with ice. Pour in the syrup, lemon juice, ginger ale and finally - your chilled Kenyan filter coffee. Squeeze the lemon peel over the glass, let the citrus oils sprinkle all over. Put the peel inside.
Serve with a mixing spoon, and mix the layers carefully before enjoying.
